harley_sr
My banshee will not hit the power band. It will go and ride down the street, but it only has power at the 1st touch of the throttle. Do you think my pistons are bad? I have new carbs, new pipes, new reeds, pretty much new every thing other than top end.. What else could be the deal???
Phase
I had the same problem some time ago and in my case it was the TORS. If I can recall right, you have to disconnect the little black box above your left cylinder, the parking brake sensor and the throttle sensor (correct me if I'm wrong). harley_sr
The tors has been off the banshee since I bought it. It is just unpluged? I guess I need to get the manual out and rewire it.
Phase
I wouldn't rewire the TORS. If the TORS is really blocked off completely, you're actually better off without it. Are the TORS units on the carbs also removed? If you have the bike in neutral and you give it some throttle, do you have the feeling there is a rev limiter at about 3500 - 4000 RPM? bigboybanshee
Did you rejet to accomodate for all of the new upgrades? If it was stock beforehand and you put all these mods on you are definitely due for a jetting change.

Yeah it does feel like its hitting a rev limiter. The tors is just unpluged, I guess he never blocked it off. I need to look in to that. Also I have rejetted the carbs. I ordered a bigger set 30mm, and also ordered a lot of jets..
