I'll tell you what... I have a new respect for Pastrana carrying on with a swollen eye and mild concussion. Pure skill and determination. Was looking forward to seeing a double back flip attempt though. What about that upset by Nate Adams. Gotta feel good to beat Pastrana after taking the back seat to him a few times already. How about some opinions or thoughts on what Chuck's 360 body varial should be officially called?? Anybody else want to chime in?? QuadMX Posted August 9, 2004 Report Share Posted August 9, 2004 I watched before I went to work and after I got home. Was pretty neat watchin. I liked the supermoto better than the freestyle though. I'm more of a racer than a freestyler. But that was pretty sweet Nate Adams winning. The last part of the bmx was pretty intense too. If nyquist woulda held onto that last one he probably woulda got the Gold. I think the 360 body varial should be called just that. Sounds good enough. rebelbanshee2 Posted August 9, 2004 Report Share Posted August 9, 2004 ill explain myself...when i say gay I dont mean he literaly bangs men...he hasnt FINISHED a supercross race since he won the 125 title, most of the FMX titles he has won, he won simply because hes the "boy wonder", he crashes and rides afterwards and everyone worships him..what about the guy who dislocated his shoulder twice and took 2nd in the step up? he dnfed the supermoto becasue he couldnt start his bike...i could go on..I just think he is WAY overrated... But you have to admit he is a good rider and he does have his shit together. I thought he won some 250cc titles too? Sorry about the misunderstanding didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. And I doubt he wins because he's the "boy-wonder" the judges are harsh and they won't score him higher for being who he is. The fans thinks he deserves to win because of his status but the judges are impartial when they are judging.
