Meat ,

You said unemployment was 2% under Clinton ...

That is a straight out lie as those numbers are impossible. :shootself:

Do your homework and you will find out that at "full employment"

the number wont get any lower than around 4% because you have the combination

of profesional lazy asses that will never get a job , and disabled and retired people.

Also for the record unemployment is at 5.4% , lower than any point during Clintons glorious administration.

Check your facts , not everyone is a CNN Kool Aid drinker... speaking of which ,do you know that while Saddam was killing all his people with the w.m.d.'s you say he never had , CNN was the only U.S. media figure in Iraq . They were able to be there because they did not report any of this going on as they knew they would have been kicked out .

 Drink up ! the rest of us will be over here in reality getting the facts.

If that is what the numbers were, then I admit I was wrong .

Notice on the graph the drop after Reagans tax cuts?

Just keep an eye on that graph for the next couple years.

I am still waiting for your explanation of how the Dem's would reduce

our debt as they only increase their spending and programs every year.

And also about your tax refund ?

Dont feel bad if you didnt send it back though , Kerry just gave himself a raise...

even in such horrible economic times .

Another thing , that 4% figure , are you telling me that workers from post war 48 to 1953

have the same ethics as todays workers , not to mention they werent enabled through social programs not to work...

Also notice the unemployment rate piked Oh right around the terrorist attacks. BUT FUCKME its all Bush's fault.

Any economic changes any president passes take at least 2-3 years to take effect, so with that in 2003 when Bush Jr's tax cut finally took effect the unemployment rates started dropping, Yet the first 2 years in office they were rising why do you think that is so? Clintons era programs and the terror attacks.

For the record the way those rates are taken does not reflect any new businesses only businesses that were on the labor radar.

Does anybody know what Kerry is trying to say anyway. He tries like hell to say what people want to hear but doesn't seem to have his own direction on anything.

Oh, and all this economy stuff going up and down. It's not because of the presidents choosen, it's based on how we spend money. Technology ie... the internet and ip technology created all the extra money during Clintons admin. Talk about making jobs. What happened when the market was saturated with the technology. Numbers went sour again for a while. We quit spending so much money to pay for the stuff we bought on credit. It's a cycle that will always happen. There can never be as much "free" and extra money as there was during that period all the time. Inflation would be insane.

As for the war, there are ups and downs to it all. It's actually one of the smallest wars in U.S. History as far as death toll. We really are liberating these countries. If we back out now we'll leave a mess. If we stick with it the U.S. will be understood by the rest of the world when it all works out.

One thing that scares me is if Bush gets another 4, then Hillary will be waiting patiently to add her name to that next ballot. I don't realistically think she'd ever win enough votes to make, too many sexist men out there, but if a woman ever had a chance, it'd be her, and I don't personally mean that in a sexist way, I mean that in a "I don't like that phony bitch" way.
