Get all of that stuff notarized and carry it with you at all times. You can apply for a title but all that will do is cost you money. And if you ride in Wisconsin, you will need the bill of sale or title and the receipt to show you paid tax on it or they will charge you the tax at the time of trying to get a sticker to ride the trails in Wisconsin. So make sure you have a receipt that shows you paid the tax and what you paid for the bike.

thanks for the reply holyman, i dont think the guy i bought it from paid the sales tax on it in Indiana--

 

I live in Homer Glen, near Tinley Park bout 25 miles south of Chicago

 

Where's beach park? how is the riding?

Beach Park is about 2 miles west of the lake and 5 miles south of wisconsin. The riding here is like the rest of the state... it SUCKS.
