87sheerips
I just bought my first bottle ofengine ice, who has had experience with it, what are the benefits, or faults of it??
sredish
I swear by it. It should run cooler, bottle says 50 degrees, I don't have a temp gauge, but it does let it run cooler, and it's way better than watter wetter. No faults, all good, I won't run anything else. ledofthezep
What's that stuff called that's allready mixed...ready to pour in. Ya don't have to mix it with water or anything...RockyMountain has it, but I can't remember the name, nor have I tried it. I've hear it's even better than engine ice & water wetter. rev370
You dont have to mix engine ice either. It comes ready to go right out of the bottle. It is also non-toxic and biodegradable. Tastes kind of like blue rasberry Koolaid
JARE77
I use engine Ice too! It works great, and looks cool flowing through my clear hoses!
tree shooter
i love that shit. used to ride the f*ck out of my banshee at the dunes at it would overheat. put in engine ice and it runs awesome all day.
cam2
i use it and will continue to do so, i believe that it does make a difference. i put it in my shee at the same time that i put in a new aluminum impeller and a temp gauge so i can't tell you how much better it is than normal coolant. but after i intalled the coolhead i noticed that it runs about 8 degrees cooler. jinx44
I run engine ice also in my banshees. I wish I had a temp gauge to see the difference. Here is a link to a forum where someone that tried it in his CBR: http://www.1000rr.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1860 My 1000RR runs 230 degrees sitting in traffic just for a comparison. blk02banshee
I run it, and have'nt had any problems yet, BUT lately I've been hearing from local pro riders and very reputable mechanics, that it's the worst thing you can put in any cooling system. So far, I love it, though, and until I see proof with my own eyes that it's bad, I'm going to continue to run it.
die_infidel
I've been wanting to try it is there a site(s) that sell it. Can't seem to find it. Thanks.
nickxc
Iv got a temp guage and I run about 140 when Im just riding fast down the roads on a normal 75 degree day. I will have to get some and try it to see how much cooler I run.

And what are they using? they said something about corrosion and electrolosis(sp?)and eating up seals. They all told me that they would'nt run anything but antifreeze mixed with distilled water.
