Pro-Circuit Pipes can they be polished?

Here's what I'd do....I use this stuff for my car called Meguiars paint cleaner, works REAL good for removing overspray, oxidation, any contaminants, etc...I'd take that stuff and and a rag and scrub the shit out of the pipes. I'd be willing to bet it would get a large majority of that nastiness off of them. You could follow up with a Mothers polish as well, see where it gets you. I'd at least try and get what I could off of them before getting them coated; you never know with a little elbow grease you might be able to get them looking pretty good!

thanks for the tips guys... I'd really rather have them kinda shiny than painted.

 

Just wanted to know is it safe to polish them like any other metal (ie. big ass buffing wheel and go nuts) or would i end up taking the chrome/plating right off them?

I don't mind them having a few rust spots... I just want some shine.

should I with a high grit paper as well before... like normal polishing?

well i just got the new nxt meguiars all metal polish thats not even out in stores yet and damn it works better than the eagle one mothers all that stuff i used them on my fattys and it went from yellow to chrome

i was really impressed
