sredish
Jetting Jetting Jetting!!!!!! You are to rich somewhere. What carbs, pilot, mains and needles are you running and at what position on the needles? Yes, your premix is not what you want to tweak to reduce fouling plugs, try jetting and you'll get what you want.

sredish
Man, it sounds like your jetting is all f'ed up. With T-5s, you should be running more than 2 sizes bigger mains than the stockers, like around 290 or 300. Chances are, the reason your fouling plugs is because your pilot is too rich, and it's fouling when you fire it up and go cruisin around. Before I do any more "high revvin" in the back field, I'd run a plug check to see if your mains aren't too lean. Once I got that all figured out, then I'd adjust your pilots. Answer this, when you cold start, does it require the choke? What pilot are you running currently and what clip are the needles in?

Wallynut
You need to really calm down and think this through, taking it to a dealer will cost you and it may not run any better. Most mech/dealers do not know how to tune the banshee(especially with mods), they see what a book tells them and that is how they will adjust. As stated your jetting is the problem not the the mix ratio. If you don't understand the jetting, read up in the jetting section. You still haven't said what you are using for jets/needle position/pilots and your elevation. With what you have for mods, I'd guess that you should be using 280-320 mains, 27.5 pilots, and have the needle raised from the middle postion. Knowing your carbs' settings and how to adjust is critical to riding/maintaining a banshee.

GraveDigger
Dude, call Alba 1-800-487-3236 and talk to Mike or Pat in parts. Tell them that you have a Banshee with the mods and where you live. They will tell you what you need to do. They were life savers for me. Mike is VERY good with 2 strokes. He will help you with any problem you have. I would call him before you do anything else. Trust me. I hope you get it fixed. I had the same problem you are having. My was a simple idle problem. Yaxy
This is another option. Years ago I used to run regular B8ES plugs never had a problem, For some odd reason I switched to BR8ES and every ride fouled plugs. Now with my Dyna ignition that I am now runnng I have to use BR8ES and since the Dyna never have spark plug problems. Run 28 FS carbs 20 pilot 270 main 800-1200 FT above sea level 60-90 degrees NY weather Chris
03limitededition
An extemely lean condition can cause one or both cylinders to cut out, and seem like a fouled plug. also, check your float settings along with your jetting. I agree with the other replies, you should be at LEAST at a 280 main jet if you have stock carbs. Read the jetting faq, Take your time and try to enjoy the tuning process. I enjoy tweaking my shee almost as much as riding. Good luck! My 2 cents
