jinx44
Just curious how many HQ members ride sport bikes and what do you ride? I just bought a new silver 2004 CBR1000RR saturday. I came off of a CBR600 and this 1000RR is awesome. Handling is great, power is undescribeable, and the comfort really isn't that bad even for me (6'1" 300lbs). I put 450 miles on it in the past two days and can't wait to get off work and ride some more. I love this bike (except for the speedometer doesn't work right ). Maverick302
04 R6, only 15, but as long as i wear a helmet cops don't care, and as long as i don't dump it my friend don't care. He had his license revoked and is selling his neon (for sale forum) and let me have the R6 for 6 mths, if he gets to ride my shee. I have a cool video of me smoking him in the neon, then being smoked by the r6. i'll have to find that.

jinx44
Rebel, I love you signature. Led, a guy I know has an '85 Kenny Roberts special (white/blue/red) that he bought about a year ago from someone for $600 and it is just as good condition as that one. I have tried to talk him out of it but he won't sell it. I thought my offer of $3000 was good, but seeing that one at $3200 with over 5 days left, I see why he turned me down. Ducman
When I was 18 (in 93') I got a 87 CBR 600 Huricane used with 16k miles sold it when it had 40K. I got a 94 ZX6E (in 97') with 16k miles, sold it with 34K miles, got a new 99' Ducati 996 when I graduated college in Dec. 98'. It has 12k miles now. Can't part with her, she's special. I haven't seen another crotch rocket that I felt the need to add to the stable, guess its like I'm married to that one now.
lastlegwarrior
I'm 19 and would love to have one, right now i only have a '98 kawasaki vulcan 800, i know it's not very fast at all. (but it sounds pretty good) My big roadblock in getting a rocket is the insurance, how do you all afford the insurance? Insurance around here Boonville, MO is crazy for those things, who do you all go through to get insurance? Other than insurance, i would love to have one in my garage right now. Cotton eyed Joe
My wife rides a crotch rocket More like a crotch bottle rocket. Small, quick, and not a very big bang.
jag706
1st bike was a '95 kawasaki ZX-6E in 2001. But in that same year one quick launch from a light and some A-Hole(unlicensed) making a left into me sent me doing a back flip over the front of the car and breaking and shattering some bones. But Hey I got a little R&R for 2 1/2 weeks and some physical therapy at the local hospital, all this for such a small price to pay I still continue to ride on the street on my '92 Suzuki GsXR 7/11- that's right old school baby!!! BUT ever since I bought my banshee this year I havn't touched the bike once I LOVE MY SHEE

banshdog
I bought a new GSX-R600 in 2001, rode it for about four months over the summer, then someone stole it two days before i went back to college. over the first winter when i was away, i dint mind it being gone, but every spring i would get pissed off when people bring their bikes out. Still havent bought another one, but i will. Hopefully next summer. Really like the blue R1's, KEEP IT YAMAHA YA KNOW!!
