KRMit
My friend has a Tri-Z he's looking to rebuild and I'm not sure what to get. The cylinder looks good but the rings and piston have grenaded. Rocky Muntain ATV has piston kits in STD, .010, and .020. The piston we took out of the motor has .25 on the side of it. What does that mean?
zilladude
The .25 is in mm so it is .010 over Edited August 3, 2004 by zilladude
KRMit
Well, he got to looking closer and the piston actually has 1.25mm on it. What is the .010? Is that ten-thousandths of an inch?
zilladude
.010 is ten thousandth's, his piston is .050 over. Dennis Kirk lists pistons up to .080. the wiseco # is 515M06925 for the .
KRMit
Thanks for all your help! It's $120 for the kit at Dennis Kirk. I actually found this place that sells it for $70. Now I know what he needs to order, thanks guys!
