PyRo_ZaCh
well my dad wanted me to get a utility instead of race quad, I dont regret gettin the banshee at all, but now that I can legaly hunt alone I see the point in a utility. I was wondering if i could sort of use it for hunting and all. so could i put a temp gun rack on the banshee and pull a fairly small (100lb at most) deer about a mile with it? and yes before you all point it out to me, I know it wasent made for this. sredish
that's funny. anything's possible i guess. one thing, the frame isn't all that strong to be supporting deer off the back of with a rack and all so some supporting might be necessary, as i've heard of people bending the frame with just a six pack rack, but they were probably jumping with a lot of shit in there. i don't think the noise would be the best for hunting unless you had some arrestors. if you end up trying it, then we will most certainly need pics. jadaven
Well Ive heard of it being done. with a stock shee. But people back home do weird shit. I wouldnt do it but ive heard of people dragin deer out of the woods with shees. Im not sure but I think the make like a universal rack for sport quads. If not with a lil' talent and a couple beers you could weld up ur own
PyRo_ZaCh
i've almost hit them a bunch of times (out of hunting season ) and at one point i could sit out there and in about 15 min watch them walk thru, and I planed to aucutaly pull it rather then try to share my seat with it, i do have a 6 pack rack but i dont think i could make a deer fit in it. bansheefreak
few yrs back my boss used to use my friends(his son's) banshee to go pig hunting... long roads to get to he would haul ass past all the other hunters and always get the best spot to wait for the pigs... he biult a rack and everything for it... i think the other hunters used to get pissed from all the dust he would leave for them lol... but them where the old days now he has a polaris for his hunting...and the banshee is for sand only... That was dropping down one of those darn unexpecting sand dunes 20' though. I did however manage to pull my nose up.. the landing was felt up to my knees. Scott knows the drops I am talking of, I believe. Sorry that was cheap.. you riding the dunes yet?
XTShee
We use the wolverine for hunting, got a winch and gun rack for it. Does the job well, rigged up another set of wires that run form the battery to the handle bars that we plug a hand held spotlight in to for getting possums, rabbits, deer and wallabies at night. My old man also welded up another muffler that slips over the end of the existing one to quiet it down some.
frocashmoney24
theres no way i'd put a rack on the shee to haul a deer, mayabe drag it, but not carry it
