racer Posted July 31, 2004 Author Report Share Posted July 31, 2004 shit, i msure thats it. i been kinda having to hit it a little with my palm to get it to seat correctly and i bet that is knocking those things ouf of place. ok so how do you all do it. do you put the domes on the jugs then put the oter piece on, or do you put the domes into the head and seat it all at the same time? racer Posted August 5, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2004 Thats easy question, None And Not enough money. thats really not so true. jim at passion told me that hed had very bad luck with the only two hed ever done. ended up ruining both stes of cylinders and he had to pay for it. and since when i get my money laid out right hes going to be doing the portwork, i think ive decided against them. everyone told me there was way more power to get out of porting than big bore. plus i wont have to change my domes. I have learned that Big boring a stock cylinders Is not as favorable Because the transfer tracks are to small to help the big bore make added power. But if you go with aftermarket cylinders than is all changes for the better. Dollar for dollar it hard to beat what you get with a Long rod stroker. This is my opinion. Are there any others?
