snow vs shee

Recommended Posts

do you know how like ppl drive snowmobiles on the road in the winter stormy nights i was thinkin bout putin studs in the shees tire an tryin it you think i could ?

unless i'm drunk and mistaken, that's how they do ice racing. shouldn't have a prob. why don't you just get a snowmoshee kit with the front skis and rear tracks that mount in place of your tires. if i still lived in co, i'd have my shee set up for snomosheeing in the winter without a doubt.

depends, here the roads are like slush, theres alwasy a groupe I see, 2 honda oddseys(sp), 2 trikes, a few snomobiles and a banshee and once in a while 2 utility quads. one time I took mine out and folowed them mudsharks moved good in the slush.

hey sredish get us a pic of this snomogizmo. sound pretty cool. and i bet itd work on water too. youd have to be fuckin nuts to try running a shee across a lake though, knowing that if you stop you will never see it again.

Hells yea, i just bust her out when it starts snowin, no cop trouble either. I once passed a cop and he just waved, i was like HOLY CRAP! Then I realized that was the cop that used to be my next door neighbor. If a cop does tell you to stop theres nothin he can do about it if you dont. Studs work well in ice but for powdery snow, go with paddles. Have fun.

Or buy a snowmobile because they go way faster and are way more fun to ride

so, the point is we want to do both with one machine. can you run your snowmobile at the glamis drag strip. im gonna go with no. :shootself:

boonman has the ski's and runs paddle tires on the back in the winter, anouther guy named like banshee9600 or something has the same thing on his raptor, hooks up good. i was going to do it last winter, but got lazy and didnt, you just need ski's spindles and some time and welding skills. im sure someone will post a pic

Too cool!!! The pic of JT's wheeler, is with my ski setup. And the comment of

is very far from the truth. My bike ripped in the snow. I laid a whoopin' to a few sleds. in a field, the story changed. But, in trails, I had no problem.

On the kit, I got some MXZ spindles, some whooped banshee spindles, and cut and welded things untill they were pimp. Worked like a charm. Minimal carbide(s) are needed. I think there were 10" carbides on the skis I ran, and it was too much....

Why not ive seen people have sleds at the dunes will your banshee do 120+ mph through 3 feet of snow no dont think so! lol an quad is not ur best bet for the snow id just say find a sled cheap youd have way more fun and be able to go alot more places.

As far as whoopin sleds on the trails ur smokin crack lol ill believe it when i see it bring your shee over and well go down the trails and you show me you can keep up ive seen alot of people say this but end up in the trees.
