German Shepherd Posted July 30, 2004 Report Share Posted July 30, 2004 I have a 01 banshee with my mods below. I can beat my buddies yz 125 that has fmf piopes and boysen reeds. But my buddys 04 Cr125 beats me by 4 feet. How do I work my throttle in a drag race? Can I just hold the throttle open and clutch and shift, or should I drop the throttle each time i shift, and how far should I drop it. Oh and I also want to beat my buddies crf 450 4 wheeler thanks. Sounds like you need an over ride tranny modification. The time you take to shift with the clutch is acceleration time lost. With the over ride you just keep shifting, but you MUST pull in the clutch if you let off the gas on a gear that is over ridden. Its strictly a drag racing mod only.
