Currently i have the mods listed in my signature and i am thinking of what to do next........

I was gonna send my flywheel out to boon in a couple weeks..

But I was also thinking that I would get a new head, most likely NOSS.

And possibly port and polish this winter.

Do those mods sound like good decisions? in that order? any other suggestions?

If and when I get the head, what size domes?

thanks for the inputs guys,

mike

ported reed cages or v-force for throttle response improve

aftermarkey head with 20cc or 21cc domes

Assuming you are near sea level in MI, if you want to run premium pump gas you will want 21cc domes for sure since your timing is advanced. Porting could change the dome recommendation so it would be good to ask the builder who does it for their recommendation.

if you wanna go faster, suspension upgrades should be in order sometime soon. even with your setup right now, better suspension will help you to go faster. you dont want a ton of power and have shitty handling.

Right on!!! Rather than powering yourself into trees you'd have the handling to go around em

With 104 to 110 octane, you could go with 19cc domes. The HP numbers vary but 3 to 5 would be conservative estimate. As well as the HP increase, the characteristics of the power are improved quite a bit. A lot broader powerband can be expected that comes on a lot earlier.

Will the higher compression affect anything else on the engine?

I was thinking 19cc or 20cc, but i am not sure of advantages/disadvantages of the different sizes, and i dont wanna cause damage down the line.

asking because I am not sure what size domes I should get.

In theory, any increase in horsepower can reduce the longevity of the internals. In my opinion, if you run the proper fuel, are jetted correctly, and do routine maintenance, 19cc domes would be reasonable. I've been running 19cc domes for a couple of years with stock internals.
