Banchetta
Loco, I'm about 2hrs, 1.5hrs, and 1 hr respectively. If I can get a chance I'll probably try to check one out never been to one. I have all the huevos vids and there's some hill climbs on them looks like fun to watch not sure that I'd have the balls to try it myself if you do it the same as those videos. Banchetta, Have you posted any pics of your intake mods? I've already gotten V force delta 2's and one 35mm carb so I figured I'd have to get some new carb boots, another carb and probably a throttle cable. I'm not sure what I need for between the airbox and carbs though. I don't have any recent pics of the new mods, but all you need is the larger boots for like $15 between the carbs and air box, if you choose to keep the air box...There is of course some modding to do to the air box and you can only change the jets by removing the fenders.... I just spend a day and dial in my shee and thats it...If you don't need the air box, then get the twin K&N's w/ the angle. The straight ones run into the pipes..BTW, I'm not running spacers either. rebelbanshee2
banchetta-what is your opinion on ported stock reed cages vs. v-force on a +4 stroker
nasty01banshee
it suxx, unless you don't want any top-end... go with at least 33's or better....
racer
would a lectron 50 mm pass enough air for a stroker? because if someone did that it would be totally unique. and freakin awesome!
The Rebel
You can put a Holley 850 on it, and it still won't have the top end of dual 33s,34s, or 35s. It is the manifold itself that is restricting the air flow at the upper revs. That is why the Graydon Proline 2-1 intake has a slight top end advantage over the Trinity set up. It has slightly more plenum volume. Since you are running a larger cc engine you might get away with modifying the Trinity with a spacer block at he mounting pad and then opening up the runners on the inside of the manifold for an increase in top end air flow. You just lose the factory air box, if that matters on your bike.
Banchetta
banchetta-what is your opinion on ported stock reed cages vs. v-force on a +4 stroker There was a 7hp gain on my shee w/ the v-force reeds over the ported stock cages.....The powerband was very erratic and untamed though...no smooth power, great for drags....I bought a set of pyramids and haven't ran them on the dyno yet. Keep an eye out, I'll be doing that shortly..The pyramids run a lot smoother. We'll see about the gains though on the hp and torque.
rebelbanshee2
Thanks..I look forward to see your results on the pyramids. I really gotta redo my intake..still runnin ported cages and 28mm carbs. Still waay faster than my ported 350..I cant imagine another 7-10hp
