Hi! I'm from the Wilkes-Barre Pa area! What are some good coal hill tires and what tires hold up the best on coal hills? Has anybody triied Paddle Masters? Do they hold up or get eatin' up?

If you want a 22" tire nothing beats a realtor for shooting up a coal hill. When my Realtors were newer (last for a good long time as well), I could pull up to the bottom of any hill, click it into second, rev it up, dump the clutch and go right up any hill.

A great 20" tire is the Blackwater, they have great hook, and are 20" so jumping and all that good stuff doesnt get hairy.

Holeshots and Razr's and all them are good right when they are new, but when they lose their edge, their performance drops dramatically.

I have mudsharks (21") on mine right now and they perform pretty well, good traction, but they are a very soft tire (they do amazingly well in mudholes though, go figure)

Anybody else have any suggestions for the coal hills???

I sometimes run 22" Bearclaws, they're very agricultural :D

If your motor has the balls to pull them (they're heavy), they can be used for some serious earth moving.

Big ones.

Coal mining is real big around here, in fact, my first job after school was as an apprentice fitter & turner on a coal mine. I've moved on to better things since...

:D Triied the Bear Claws yesterday and they rip! More motor would be better though! Next I'll try the Swampers! I have 8 sets of tired and just lookin' for something that doesn't get destroyed to fast. I custom grooved a set of Turf Tamers in a Kenda Claw kinda pattern and they worked pretty good and seem to wear like iron! I need to do a new pair, the ones I grooved were already 50% worn out. :bolt:
