I don't dislike people because they don't believe, or even have a separate set of beliefs... but I do dislike people who attempt to force their beliefs on others. I do my best to explain my beliefs when someone asks, without pushing it on them. If they choose a different path, its all up to them. First three years it was like "God is good he'll reward you" and after that the beastly teachers that worked there scared me out of going to church(i still do tho). Not to mention the fun stuff like asking them a hard question and watching them stumble, or when the priest asks to confess your sins just blurt "I masturbate daily to internet porn" and he's just completely stunned. Iv never been exposed to the whole religion thing and frankly when I hear people talking about some all knowing god, I can't beleive people can fall that stuff. I think logically, I need hard facts. I beleive in evolution, I think like a scientist, you have to prove to me 100% without a shadow of doubt that there is a god or else I'll always have a doubt. And the only hard evidence I'll accept is if ol' god himself appears one day. By the way, does god and heaven live somewhere up in the clounds.... and do the angles have little wings on thier backs.... and what about the devil... does he live somewhere deep within the earth.... and is he red colored and have horns... how bout a tail... does he ride a honda too ?? How come there's no mention of dinosaurs in the bible..... this one always works up the religous folk.... the only answer I ever get on this one is something like..... "uh the bible mentions great beasts". Great beasts my ass, I wanna hear moses talk about that big T-Rex that his god created. Ya know billions of chinamen think god is fat green guy named budda, what happens if you christains die and when you all dead and shit there's this green fat dude speakin chinese at ya. Your up shits creek without a paddle. Your gonna tell me that this god dude created the whole universe from end to end. He got his magic powers fired up one day and decided to make a nebula here.... and put a few zillion stars there.... whipped up some comets.... made some helium on thursday...... I guess when you grow up on the outside of the religion and your lookin' in at the people who believe in that stuff, you find it very strange. I find the whole concept strange and the whole praying thing strange and the dancing with snakes strange... and those healers on sunday morning tv strange.... and the whole singing in church strange.... I don't have to the time to get into the whole subject where religious(i cant even spell it) folk look down at people who don't beleive in what they believe and act the way thier god wants them to act. Bible thumpers That should fire up some hot replies...... see yas later im off to work...... All hail satan !! Wassup350 Posted July 28, 2004 Report Share Posted July 28, 2004 Wow im completely with Meat. I use to go to church with my grandma when i was like 7 and it was so boring. I cant see wasting my sunday mornigns listening to some guy speak about god. I look at it like who the hell cares where you're going when you die, the only thing that matters is that you should live it up while your alive. I'm sure when i die nothing will happen, it will be a lot like if i was to sleep but not dream. Meat has a great point about the dinosaur thing, thats a really good question to ask a religeous person. From what i learned in school about how life began with amino acid and stuff and how it evolved into animals which lead to humans and all that. It makes a lot more sense then some god just magically making humans and the world. Sorry for any offense taking by you religeous folks, but thats just my opinion. Then I kind of just got tired of it. I discovered this rock thing was true. Jerry Lee Lewis was the devil and Jesus was an architect previous to his career as a prophet. The bible is like what 2,000-3,000 years old at the most? The last dinosaurs died out like 10,000,000 years ago? How in hell (excuse the pun) would the writers of the bible know about dinosaurs? Dark Ranger - The new testament was written 2000 years ago (jesus' life) The old testament was about jesus' father, God, at the beginning of time. Pretty funny pun though. It is definetly like Santa Claus, you be good and you will get rewarded. This is where people who don't believe in religon have an advantage. We (who don't believe) can use your belief to our advantage because we know your scared of ghosts and goblins. We know what you will probably do in a certain situtation and can make a better decision to make things better for ourselves. That puts us on top of any situation dealing with religous people. Don't get me wrong, I think religon is good for weak minded people that are not happy with what they are getting out of life. Have you ever noticed that there are alot of fat, ugly, and old people going to church? The fact is there not happy with life and there turning to religon to get happiness because they are too weak mined to change there life for the better. I have never met one 100% honest religous person. This is my eyes makes them all hipocrits. You say your gonna do one thing and then you don't (liars). I don't preach that I'm gonna live by certain rules. I live how I want and what makes me feel good about myself. I take credit for what I do, not some made up god. Religion causes alot of people to do bad things because they believe they can just confess and evrything is okay (bullshit). I love the movie seven because it shows that ALL people are guilty of one of the so called seven deadly sins which means evrybody would go to hell if there was one. Now lets talk about offerings at church or should I say your club donation. I'm giving serious thoughts to opening my own church, theres damn good money in it. If people are gonna be dumb enough to just hand over there hard earned cash I might as well have my hand out. Take the offering away and see how long the pastor sticks around. The truth is religion is a money making scam that scares people into acting a certain way. Religion was then, and Law and government is now. Unforntunately religion has tainted our government and law. You can damn well bet that I will put my hand on the bible (like I said above, my advantage) when swearing-in in court, if not I will have predjudis bible beaters against me. In this case as well as with our laws/religion it is forced on us and it is not freedom not to believe. Thats fact in its self that relgion is predjudice against people who don't believe. The truth is non-religous people are more honest then relgious people. We dont' make up bullshit in our heads to not take responsibility for our actions, we have to live and die with ourselves. My new congrigation is gonna be called "The Banshee Bible". You may Pm me for an address to send your contributions. Cause I still smoke and drink and have pre-marital sex. I used to steal and lie about it, hurt people and not care, and one day it started happening to me. What I do believe in is Karma..... What goes around, comes around. This is trippy, still to this day it makes me question my belief's. I had a girlfriend....an athiest (she didnt believe in anything)....or should I say....what she did believe in..... She believed that we were all placed on Earth by aliens. And that they come back periodically to check on us and to do experiments to see how we are evolving. That pretty much threw a wrench in my plans to die a happy believer.
