stclark04 Posted July 27, 2004 Report Share Posted July 27, 2004 im leaving for new york tomorrow morning, i was there once one month before the spetember 11 terrorist acts, i saw the twin towers and everything.. its gonna be weird looking at the skyline without them there. tomorrow we are gonna go to "ground zero" i guess they call it and see. i was wondering if there are any other places in new york that are a must to go to. last time we were there we were only there for 2 days.. we didnt get to see and go a whole lot of places.. Act like a backwoods yokel and maybe the owner will give you the nickle tour and free cover...worked for me when I was there and I didn't even have to act! stclark04 Posted August 1, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 1, 2004 wow, i just got back... man its nuts there, people everywhere, no matter where u go. i went to the bronx and walked by yankee stadium and we 3walked around the bronx for a while. it was cool. we went to ground zero where the twin towers were. it was kinda fun. the subway is the way to go for sure. bunch of weird ass people down there. all in all it was a good time. i didnt remember it being so crazy the last time i was there. everything is such fast paced. got me a real tight ass yankee hat too. its the shit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
