kenr74
Well, judging by his response in your other thread I would say you are fucked. I think I remember somebody a while ago having problems with him too but it's been a while. If he is honest he will take it back and give you a refund. That's just part of being a good seller. shellbyzfan33
once again here is the deal; i had the axle on my shee and never noticed a thing. i'm not the kind of person who would sell junk to someone. ask the other guys who i've sold things to. i'm not avoiding any e-mails cause i've only received 2. neither which included a problem . i wrote in ur other thread that i will refund u your money!!!!! i would say ur the asshole for being all sneaky and posting all these thread without actually e-mailing about the problem. and wtf takes 2 hours to replace an axle. again why would i have the axle powdercoated and put up for sale if it was bent??? plus a felow bhq member told me that u have ridden the shee like 6 time since it has been on????? maybe YOU bent it????????? SANDSTAR
Oh, my! I do love BHQ squabbles. If he installed it, he owns it. If he needed an axle in the first place, you know he rides hard enough to bend another one....
.
I also have a question now thinking about this. Why did you buy the axle in the first place? Bend your other one? Chances are this is the deal, and chances are it wasnt because you were racing mx and bent it that way, even if you did, chances are you also bent your rim. Could it be that your rim is a little bent? I'm not taking anybody's side, and the axle could've been bent, and it could not be noticeable from a picture, but if you take your carrier off and put it in a vice you would be able to see exactly where it is bent when you spin it. I just know any time I've seen an axle bent, there is also a bent rim to go along with it usually.

420 RACING
I AGREE WITH (.) CHECK THE RIMS TO SEE IF THEY ARE BENT, BEEN THERE. REPLACED AN AXLE DO TO WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A BENT AXLE AND ONCE ON A COUPLE OF STRAIT EDGES THE AXLE WAS FINE. AND IT WAS ONE OF THE RIMS. I'D BE LOOKIN AT THOSE RIMS..... HOPE ALL WORKS OUT FOR YA......................LATER
shellbyzfan33
exactly!!! plus ur forgeting that the hub could be a little off. my old lt had a bad hub that i thought was the axle for the longest time.
SICK BOY
I sold Shelby something before, and he paid fast and was a great guy to deal with.I would check your rims, check the axle with a straight edge, check your carrier bearings, and then if it's not right I'm sure he'll make it right.Nickxc did you ride it a bit with the axle in? shellbyzfan33
heres what he wrote in one of his other threads about this whole ordeal since I rode on this axle for a couple days (3 tanks) --written by nickxc 3 TANKS!!! takes me like a month to go through 3 tanks.. 3 tanks is a lot of riding.., Edited July 27, 2004 by shellbyzfan33
stclark04
by no means am i taking sides, but isnt the rule; once its installed and used, then its urs? i think there might be a good case if it wasnt used.. but there is the possibility that it could have been bent when it was being rode on.. but also like everyone else said, u might cheack ur rims, hubs and anything else that could cause the feel of a bent axel. just my opinion on the matter.. nickxc
Hey man dont get all pissed off. I also sent you an email in between those two emails you talk about saying that the axle was bent and asking for a refund. and Im not bashing you!!!! I was looking for a responce from you on why you sold me shit and I figured some of the other member prolly knew you... Now back to the axle. I said I would pay return shipping if you just gave me back the money order I sent you. Thats all. If your willing to do that great let me know and I will get it boxed up!! sneaky and posting all these thread exactly what is sneaky about posting a public thread. I figured at least here you would have to reply something.
