royroy
Hey What grove should I use if I'm at about sea level, I replaced the jets and I was told that I should change the position of the needle... Thanks Roy

Thanks Roy Well, we don't know how your bike is setup, but generally with pipes and such, either the third or fourth clip. Best thing to do, is to try those two and maybe even richer and just see what feels best when riding, you'll know if it's in the "wrong" position. royroy
well, first I had it on the third position and it was weak in low rpms but then when it hit the power band it flew. then I moved in down one, to the fourth one, and it's alot smoother but I'm not sure if it's running right. BTW my jets are 32.5 and 300 and my pipes are FMF fatty. I'm sort of brand new to this so I'm not sure what kind of information you would need... what should I do? Thanks Roy
sredish
that sounds like an awfully rich pilot. you really shouldn't need much more than a 27.5 or 30 in a worst case.
sheefreak
I run fmf fatty's, k+n filter, no lid on airbox, mild port work, and i run 310's, and 30 pilots, clip in forth position. run's great, but just a little hard starting for first startup of day. I think i could stand to go down to 27.5's myself.
royroy
Generally speaking if I run really rich then the air screw has to be open alot more, am I right? I don't have the original jets, or any other jets for that matter... Roy
