Brooke
sounds like CAD work. no? do you make them for the construction purposes or visual/reference purposes? Brooke, I do it for both, for the construction detail of some of our projects and for the visualization for the customers. It gets tedious as shit, but it's cool to see some of the finished projects. We have architects we work with but sometimes they're a little on the steep end for some of our customers when I can put something together and bill them for half and it goes into my pocket. Blue Deuce, thanks for your input with the VirtualPC, to Brooke's dismay, I will probably have to test that out for my Visio setup. thats cool. i was curious to know so maybe i could suggest some programs for ya....but i dont really know of any CAD type stuff for macs, a little outta my scope so blue deuce is right on, virtualpc is perfect for that. sredish
Nah, it's all good. I'll be experimenting with some Mac stuff anyway and hopefully I'll find something new and refreshing. From what I've heard about the Mac and it's drawing/graphical abilities, it shouldn't be too hard. I got my mouse yesterday. Yes, just the mouse. I think the PBG4 will be here Monday. It's becoming urgent not having a computer for three of four days now. I'm on the home PC, but it's not in the office and I don't have too much loaded on it so can't work too much. The one in the office is loaded up somewhat, but it's my wifes and she's on it most all the time, so I gots nowhere to go.

sredish
Well, it's here. I'm on it now, trying to get it all put together. Got my network up, my printers installed, and I'm installing Office:Mac right now. Just checking this thing out, but so far so good. Seems to be pretty cozy to work on so far. I like the feel of the unit and it's pretty damn small compared to my older one. We'll see how it goes. Later.
