Sand Tires in Canada?

Recommended Posts

Do any of you Canadian members know where I can buy some sand tires and wheels for my banshee in the country? I have been pricing tire wheel combos at rockey mountain atv and the prices seem rasonable. I just want to know if I can find a Canadian dealer to avoid the whole duty thing while bringing them into Canada.

I should ask my girlfriend this as she is Canadian, but I'm going to ask this here anyways. Why is it that main land Canadians make fun of Newfys (Newfoundland)? None of the jokes her family tells about them make very much sense to me, but if you replace Newfy with a trailer park resident in almost all of the jokes it winds up being just as funny. Granted I'm retarded, but it would be coo if someone could answer my question.

Haha, that is a good question. I think some of the small fishing comunities around the coast of Newfoundland would remind you of a trailer park, with all the shit cars, pickup trucks and low income housing. I can imagine the jokes are similar to the one's a person from Washington would make about those Southern State hicks. Regardless I'm suprised that you even know where Newfoundland is, most Americans don't.

The only reason I know where Newfoundland is, is because my girlfriend is from Burnaby B.C. and her family still lives there and has a think for making jokes about Newfys. I personally enjoy making jokes about about the imbred hillbillys from Demming which is a town about 45 minutes to the east of Bellingham. The jokes about Newfys and Imbred hillbillys are aslo vey similair. I just was never sure why Canadians make fun of Newfys. Who do Newfys make fun of?

Back to the main reason I made the post. I am looking for a Sand tire dealer in Canada, I have to get the tires and bring them back to the middle east in about one month for some good dune riding or when it cool down below 120 degrees. So if anyone knows about a dealer in Canada let me know.

For a set of sand skate 2's and douglas red label wheels they want about 1800 Riyals which is 650 canadian dollars or about 495 U.S. The shipping is the most expensive part, if I get them before I go I can avoid all shipping costs and bring them as luggage on the plane.
