iceman
I'm thinking of getting a Z-400 and making it a 450 like Doug Gust. I guess since there is no (good) sand here in Georgia I would try to get into MX or just riding in the dirt. Anyone have anything to say about them? My friend has one and says he would take a shee over it any day. Just wondering. I'll probably end up with a half built shee anyways as I am short on money. The next alternative is a YFZ450...I am so lost in what to get. 2 strokes are so much work but I guess its worth it. Any input would be helpful. Eventually I'll be riding sand again but for now I just need to get the job done.
Wassup350
Save up for a YFZ 450. Z400s are friggan slow, if i had that and a banshee the Z would probably sit in the garage collecting dust. IF you were to try to get the Z400 up to par with the YFZ450 you would end up spending way more then it would cost just to get a YFZ450 in the first place. I use to swear by banshees, but those 450s are the hot new ticket. Now if you wanted to shovel a lotta money into a quad a banshee would be the way to go but for stock those YFZs are rocketships. iceman
Thanks alot. Currently I have nothing. My dad has a Raptor, a Warrior, and a Polaris 335. Mostly I ride his friends Banshee. I WAS going to do something to the Warrior but it's "my step mom's" and its "fast enough". My dad argues with her all the time about doing stuff to it. Now I live in Hell...ahem excuse me, Georgia with my mother. I'm going to make her buy me a quad since she made me come live in this hell hole. Only 2 more years... Otis
My dad has a Raptor, a Warrior, and a Polaris 335. Ask pops if you can use one of those bikes, till you get the cash to get your own ride.... my dad, would've told me to go pound dirt, but hey, everyone's different....
