locogato11283
well mine has a spacer plate. im guessin if you have a stock head, id use it and have it rechambered or whatever they do. otherwise if you have an aftermarket head maybe use the spacer plate. im not real sure. depends on your setup now. what all you got?? XTShee
To get the most out of the 4mm you really need to have porting done to work with it. You should speak to a builder as you may not get your expected results with your current port job
ScreaminShee01
wiseco 795 pistons meant for the longer rod setups they work awesome
racer
wiseco 795 pistons meant for the longer rod setups they work awesome youre thinkin of a long rod and hes talkin about a stroker. you cant use 795's on a stroker cause it would be all f'ed up. you have to use the spacer or a rechambered head because the crank has a longer throw and that puts the piston further up in the cylinder. a longrod is a stock from crank that has longer rods and utilizes a piston with higher wrist pin placement to reduce sideloading on the piston skirts. doesnt really help with your spacer question but damn sure dont put 795 series pistons on stock rods. wesw
ive debated this also. im planning to get a stroker this winter. me the cut domes would be more sealthy the spacer would be a little more noticeable. just a thought. being sneaky

I tested the sets for him...made a difference on my shee....I had the spacer before that...that sucks..I"m also running the long rod in mine.... itsaripper
The TZ output bearing No. is 93390-00012-00. That is a Yamaha number. Also Grand River sells a 9 baller for around $45, look on ebay they have them on a auction all the time, or call them. All the notes I have on a 4 mill stroker say you can use the 795 pistons, if the stroker has the long rod. But you are still going to need to do something with the head or use a spacer plate. I wish someone had a fax on this to clear it all up.
Ducman
Stroker domes are better than the plate. More crank case pressure or something like that makes them work better. Most 4mm stroker cranks also use a 5mm longer rod. 795 series pistons are better than blaster pistons, bigger port windows I think. 795 series pistons are for use with the 5mm longer rod (wristpin is 5mm closer to the dome) and then you will still need the stroker domes or plate to account for the extra 4mm in piston travel and the correct squish. a&sbanshee
we run our 4mill drag bike with blaster pistons with no spacer plates at all with a cool head with regular uncut 20cc domes and have no clearance issues at all with this motor but it is fairly tight just enough clearence for rod stretch and so on just make sure u use the correct base gaskets with this set up cuz if u dont have enough then u will get detination due to piston hitting the head
