racer
he very well could be a dumbass but what i think he means to say is that youre not allowed to run big bore motors in that particular class.
frocashmoney24
yea, certain class's have certain cc requirements. like 350cc and 250cc or open, he cant run a punched raptor in a 250cc class, hell everyone i know with a 2 stroke is bored Edited July 19, 2004 by frocashmoney24
sredish
I'm sure he means not running a big bore, like a 409cc kit on a banshee to follow the 350cc class. Boring .010 won't do anything to add cc's, very little, that's why it's not something you'd do to improve performance, because it just shaves off enough to get the marks out. .
It all depends what the cc class is. Boring 20 over in a 350cc class will put you over. It's not many cc's but that tiny little bit of power might make a difference, you never know. Forget who it was but they pulled apart his engine the other weekend to make sure he wasnt cheating on the GNCC circuit.

Doug Gust, because he whoops everybody's ass. He can wreck be in last place, and still come back to a second or third finish. Funny, how they pulled apart his motor, and he was completely within specs.
MotulMonsta
That's funny!! I bet Ol' gust said What's up now Bitches!! I ain't no cheater! I'm just good is all..Don't hate the player, Hate the game!. And as far as I know, there is no 350cc class anywhere in atva or ama off road racing..there's a 250 a,b,c, pro and pro/am, 2 stroke open a,b,c, 4 stroke a,b,c, pro, pro/am and 4 stroke open. So if you got a banshee, you have to run in the 2 stroke open class. So you might as well run a big bore kit.
Wassup350
At the local MX track here the only classes offerd for quads is Quad novice quad am and quad expert I dont think it matters what your engine size is, ive seen raptors racing against 250rs. tithead
over here mostly everything is open class. you get the pro class and the support class for the british, nett, irish and scottish championships but they are all still open class, you just need a speial number plate so the officials no what cc you run. yellow back ground number plate for 450cc and under and a white background for anything over 451cc. the only race over here that has a cc class is the Weston Super Mare beach race in bristol, england. its an international race and hundreds of 2 wheelers and quads turn up for it. of course quads race quads and 2 wheelers race 2 wheelers but all done in `cc` classes until the end when they race all the quads in 1 race and all the 2 wheelers in another.
