Hockey390
Hey, I just got my Chain Slider in and I'm at work.. I have a few spair hours after work to do the install, and was wondering for those of you who have removed the rear swingarm if you had any tips or tricks to get it done quick. I'm leaving friday night so I dont want to mess anything up, and dont have much time to fix problems. So, if you have a fastest method to removing the swingarm so I can put this slider on there, please post.
tats4life
what kind of slider did you get?
thecabinboy
drop the shock at the linkage point first to release the pressure on the swingarm.
Hockey390
I'm thinking I'm going to just do what cabinboy said (undo the shock at the linkage) and undo the chain, then the swingarm should come right off shouldnt it??? Just one bolt correct? Hopefully its that simple.. I only have about an hour to get it done.
eehsnab2
should take about 15mins... a lot easier with a floor jack and som jack stands. Undo the shock linkage and there is nothing to it!
LIsurfer_
Yeah nothing to it unless your swingarm bolt is a bitch to get out....I had to put the 10 pound sledge to it...and replace it once I finally got it out.........hope urs goes better............I bought the upp slider for next time...no swingarm removal needed....
