frocashmoney24
how does the plugslook? it sounds like you have a combo problem, of lean running, and maybe a stator going bad
ledofthezep
Yepper, sounds like a sever air leak, hosed reeds, or stator.
mrmatt
Your flywheel key could be sheared. Did you recently install a degree key?
factoryshee
no degree key but i intalled an adjustable timing plate but its still set to 0 and its got a brand new cdi on it um where could i have an air leak everything is new reeds are brand new too so i dont know wuts going on shits all bad plugs are fine it fires but dies right away please help i think water might have gotten in somewhere cuz it was in the rain is that a posibility or could i adjust the timing to like +4 maybe that would help? frocashmoney24
advancing the timing wont do anything. the plugs dont look lean at all or rich?, you sure the stators a good one?
factoryshee
that stator was fine the when i checked it out after i took the plugs out they were burnt to shit but it ran fine one day then the next day it wouldnt run PlUmP
bansheefreak
you might check the wires going to your plug wires .. they are right there by the right side pipe up under the tank... my brother's banshee was backfiring and bogging real bad and we found that one female connecter was lose so it was arching and not getting spark right even thou we would pull the plug and have spark...we fixed the female end and runs like a champ now.. ledofthezep
You have to go to your "My Controls" & submit an image for an avatar. where could i have an air leak Fire it up & spray some carb cleaner or WD40 around your intake boots & see if shee revs.
2banshees
theres one more thing that no one has mentioned.check the orange wire that runs to your coil. may have a rub hole in it and groundingt out.
