94BansheeRider
Just wondering if anyone has been to Draper in OKC? All the info on the net is generic, and was wondering where a good place to park is, or if anyone will be there also. Some friends and I are going Sunday. We will have 2 black and silver Banshees, 1 maybe 2 white Z400's , and 1 blue YFZ450 . Thanks.

racer
im a duner but me thinks it pretty weak. im pretty sure it designed for bikes cause there are some places a quad just wont go and in some spots it reminds me of GNCC type stuff. there arent any real jumps. but they are these long fairly straight access roads that you can haul ass on. DONT ride on the asphalt, got pulled over for that on my last trip, not sure if he would have ticketed me cause i was riding with a cop. i thinks its like 2-3 bucks for a day pass, get one. the ticket for that is like a bill or a bill twenty. if youve got any specific questions PM me. im not sure where to park cause i never drive. but i dont think it matters too much, just pick a spot near some other trucks. 94BansheeRider
rail, thanks for the info. Not quite sure I want to make the trip now. Would it be worth the drive from Tulsa? If not, do you know of any places on the Canadian River? We have been to Whitefield (just east of Eufaula), and it was pretty cool. Good place to sand drag. The main sandbar is about 1/2 mile long, and at least 300 feet wide. You can haul ass!!! zep, it's a small lake just on the southeast side of OKC, and the riding area is on the north side. The info I got was that there is 85 miles of trails. Here is the link for the satellite image http://terraserver-usa.com/image.aspx?t=4&...y=1224&z=14&w=2 Thanks again

94BansheeRider
Just north of Whitefield on hwy 2. On the north side of the bridge there is a parking area on the west side. Here is a link for the sat. image: http://terraserver-usa.com/image.aspx?t=1&...y=2439&z=15&w=1 The main sandbar starts at the bridge and heads east. Many people have told me that when the river is down you can ride the sand all the way up to Eufaula dam. I think that is only during the winter months. Right now the water goes up and down everyday, and we have not found a place to cross yet. We can see other riding spots across the river. Other than the main sandbar, there are trails that head west. They are some pretty good high speed trails. Only been there once. No jumps found yet. Checked out the area below the dam last weekend. It was pretty cool also, but the sand by the river was a little rough from the river going up and down. Just up the bank there are some good play areas and the trails are fairly long and sandy. Once they start letting water out of the dam, the shoreline slowly disappears. Do you know of any other good areas to ride at? Later. racer
yeah ive always wanted to ride th low side of eufuala dam but seems like everytime the shee gets a chance over there it breaks, maybe its not meant to be.
racer
so how did you like it?
94BansheeRider
We heard from other people also that if we went, we would more than likely not return. So we wound up going back down to Eufaula dam to ride. The lake levels around here are finally starting to drop, so that should open up some of the better riding areas that we have been wanting to ride at. racer
yeah there do seem to be a lot of dead bodies found around the lake draper area, never thought of it like that though. helluva good point, I shall never return there!
