cjm02ram
Has anyone had any experiance with the extended swingarms off Ebay? The run for $175. Thanks alot for all the help
duecebanshees
Probably can't beat them for the price. I have 3 of them. A +3 on my sons blaster, and a +6 for banshee and +8 for banshee. They are all straight and nice welds. But they are heavy. Like 11 or 12 lbs.
badcompany
cjm is right. they are very good for the money. like $175 instead of like $400 is you can even find one that cheap. they are heavy though.
kenr74
I have one that is a +6. No complaints so far. If you don't mind a few extra pounds it is good for the money.
InFlames
Is that low price worth taking a high speed spill? spend a little more and get one thats built like a tank.
duecebanshees
The arms appear to be built well. I have not had any problems with mine. I dune, trail, and drag with them. They are holding up fine. The extended ones that cost the most are usually built light weight for drag racing and are not intended to be ridin in any other way. They are not built for max strength. The ones on ebay could be used for dragging or everyday riding with no problem and are still affordable for most people. Cotton eyed Joe
I'm thinking those that sell for that cheap must be made out of mild steel instead of chromoly. Chromoly DOM is typically 5x the price in my area of 1018 DOM. Also, check them out if you can to see if its DOM and not seam welded. Thats the reason my swingarms are priced where they are. Chromoly isn't cheap. Mine can be used for drag racing, duning, etc..... anything you want. I just choose to make them out of chromoly so they will be less likely to bend with repeated severe beatings. cjm02ram
If I buy a +6 off ebay what all would I need to make it work? Xtended Brake lines and chain only?

DUNEDEMON
If I buy a +6 off ebay what all would I need to make it work? Xtended Brake lines and chain only? Stiffer (increased rate) rear spring, possible rebuild / revalve of the rear shock.
eehsnab2
chain, brake line, and new rear spring unless you weigh like 160 pounds, and possibly a new carrier depending on what you are running now and what the new swinger is set up for....
