Aaight. I'd like to go, and if there is any way to hook up, I'd like to make it out there. Never been there, don't really know where the "first pond" is. I have a prior engagement of playing golf with my dad in the morning. He wants to go early, this probably means 7 or 8am at the latest. I also have to go to D/FW around 6pm. So, if I play 9 holes, I could be done by 11. You'll be gone, but I guess I could meet you. I'd be out there by noon, then could ride for 3 or 4 hours, and head home.

What do you think of that? I'd need to know how to get in and find you though, I hate going to riding places and not knowing anyone at all, plus the last time I rode, I busted some shit up and needed my buds to get me to the hospital. What are friends for right?

Cool, tell you what. My cell phone number is 903-651-5151, it's on 24/7. I'll be up late tonight working, probably till 2 or 3am, you can call me tonight, or call me in the morning before you leave and we can work on it from there. I live on the west side of Whitesboro on Hwy 82 (north side), where Hwy 56 come in, right at the westbound on ramp. Hell, we are super friendly, you could drive up and we could ride together if I can get done.

Later.

Scott

No not really crowded from what I have seen. I have only been there about four times. So if you have driven by it. You just drive down the road up to the house and pay $6 or $7 something like that. The pond is a little ways past the house once you get in on the right. Just ask the man at the gate. I will have my cell also 903-815-6907 I will turn it on around 8 or so. So sounds cool I will see ya there. Look for the white ford explorer with the 13' black single axel trailor.

That was my first time out, but I can tell you this. There was only one other banshee, and all I could tell from where we were was that it had pipes. The plastic, bumpers, tires and everything else looked totally stock. There were probably 10 to 15 other sport quads, and there were a bunch more 4x4 quads. There were a lot of bikes out there.

There seem to be loads of trails winding off in every direction, most pretty wide, not too worry too much about a widened machine. There's an area on one side that's really wide open with a straight stretch out in the middle for dragging. There isn't a light tree or anything, it's pretty much an open runway for you to do what you want. I would go out on a limb here and say it's not really a place that caters to drag bikes, and with a name like Rocky Ridge, that seems to pretty much sum it up. There weren't but a few people in the drag area when we got there, a couple of bikes and a 4x4 and a Scrambler that were taking turns and messin around. We took a couple passes and that was that.

I need to get back to riding a lot more, and I'm going to try and go back some. The trails are pretty nice and there's some places that are decent to ride there, a couple of bowls to get some air time and a small track that I didn't go on, so I don't know how that is.

Well geez i'm kinda sorry I missed this post. I been looking for riding time to break in the new bike. We went to Murray on Saturday and Bulcher on Sunday. I'm usually bored with in about 30 min at Rocky since it isnt very big. Bulcher was good until dad went out to do a plug check run and looped the banshee right over on top of himself, that required an ER visit and the riding day cut a little short. The new bike should be just about broken in and the jetting is pretty close at this point. Maybe we can all plan a ride again sometime, since it looks like pops wont be riding for a month or so. He'll be lucky to be ready for the dune trip in August at this point.

So how is your pop? O.K. I hope. Scott said I should have pm'ed ya but I didn't even think of that. It was a decent day there are quite a few trails at rocky ridge so we cruised for a while. Just yell when you are ready to go cruise, we can all hook up and ride. So I see you got a YFZ that makes me jealous, I want, I want one. Tell your dad to keep the rubber side down.

I think pops will be better by the end of the week, but they told him 8-10 weeks for the muscles to completely feel up to par again. Told him we're going to have to put him on a Polaris Trailblazer or something slow like that so he cant get hurt. The 450 is really nice, seat is a bit hard compared to a banshee seat, but once you ride a little while it isnt too bad. The power is just really smooth on it from top to bottom and it rails through the woods pretty good to. Still not real fast on it yet but hoping to be ready for the opening XC race for the second half of the season in September. What have you been up to lately anyway? Havent heard from ya in a while. How's the shee doing?

Alright, I'm not going to go riding with you if we have any of that.

Seriously, I hope he's okay and recovers quickly. I would have liked to meet up with you. That sure is a nice birthday present you got yourself, when was your b-day anyway?

Later.

Mid June was old ladies birthday here. I decided that if I was going to buy one that I wanted to take it to the dunes in August. If I was going to do that then I was going to have to buy it soon, so I ran out and bought one about 3 weeks ago.

I just about finished the graphics install tonight, and i'll drop the seatcover off tomorrow and get it put on. Finish up the graphics when I get home and play around in the lot next to the house. Love it so far though. Definitely different than riding the shee though.

I'll probably end up at Lake Murray most of the weekend. It's close, i know my way around pretty well, and there isnt much out there that I cant get myself out of. Plus a buddy of mine is going to pick up his new YFZ tomorrow so I thought i'd see if he wanted to go. It should be just about broke in at this point, but i'm still getting used to riding it and how it reacts to different terrain compared to the banshee.

If anyone wants to go let me know if you need directions, otherwise I guess i'll catch ya'll out at some point or another. I'm prety safe to ride with, dad just likes to go off and crash by himself for some reason.
