xt45
how is raptor 660 versus shee, which one is better, and why
sredish
kind of an apples to oranges comparison. the raptor feels and handles quite a bit different. some say the suspension is a little better. it's got some power, but with a few simple mods, the shee will hand it it's lunch in a good drag, it might get the immediate launch, then it's bye bye. They can be built to be a runner also, but more of a duner or desert than much else.
Meat_Head
Their center of gravity is pretty high so when cornering aggressively they are tippy they also are extremely wheelie happy , personnally i totally hate how they handle. locogato11283
raptors are absolutely worthless in a drag race unless they are pretty beefed up. they are too short, narrow and tall to handle well. they feel tippy and personally, i wouldnt own one. put the same money in a stock banshee and a stock raptor and the banshee will walk on it all day. sredish
isn't is such a waste for all those cc's...
loganskinner
the raptor has an annoyingly high center of gravity. a stock raptor isnt worth the price of the fuel you put in it on an MX track because the front end wants to come up no matter what you do, and taking any sharp turns makes you feel like you are going to tip the hell over. i wouldnt buy one for any kind of racing. banshee0044
i really like the raptor..stock it is pretty fast..and after a cam and pipe..it flies..but it dont compare to say a banshee with pipes and cool head.. like the first guy said...kinda apples and oranges
Adamshee
Raptors are good bikes for trails and dune, but I have never been beaten by one, not even close, Raptors just cant be quite as fast as banshees

banshees and beers
XT45, you are always on here asking about other quads, and thinking they are better then the Shee. I don't want to be mean man, I get the feeling you don't own a quad yet from all the qustions you ask all the time. You need to find out what you want from a bike, then pick out a bike that suites you. Pick up a copy of ATV action, they do quad reviews every month. mybadbanshee
way too tippy for me, you just cant throw one around like you can a shee and its tough to do anything if you cant keep the front wheels on the ground.out of all the quads ive ridden i like the craptor the least. banshee boy 98
i have a raptor for 5 weeks worst investment i ever made!!!!!!!!!
jadaven
I have both a raptor and a shee. Bottom line is banshee handles better, and is way faster. I have already rolled the raptor (wheelie) and tiped it over in a powerslide. Im not saying i dislike the raptor, i like it and and to say i didnt would be a lie. I like it cause i can go to ant gas station and fill up instead of having to premix the oil. I take the banshee out and ride it when i want to show someone up (the list is getting long predator, other shees, countless 400ex's, and my raptor). So in my opinion the shee is great for everything. But I use my raptor more as a "Campground Cruiser". Not to mention the a-arms on a raptor suck (mine are bent ala wheelie)
nickxc
Raptors have their place. Anyone can ride them so they are nice to get for a first time rider who wants to be able to keep up and a blaster or warrior isn't fast enough.
