Jetting ? for 2 into 1 pipe

Recommended Posts

I think I finilly got the jetting for this pipe dicked.I did another plug chop and I had about a 3 1/2 mm gray ring (rich). To make a long story short I ended up with 25 pilots, needle in the 4th slot,290 mains, and air screws at 2 turns out.Runs great, takes right off the line and keeps pulling with no bog or hesitation.I'm going to my buddys track tomorrow, and I'll do a plug chop to be sure but I think I got it.

Thanks to all that helped.

I hope it works out. Sounds like your pretty close if not right on. Just keep an eye on the outer base ring at the end of the plug, around the outside of the thread, you'll want it to be pretty dark also.

On this plug below, it's not colored hardly at all on the outer ring because it's new, but you can see that the ground strap is pretty dark, should be a dark chocolate color, then where the bend is on the strap, it'll darken more, probably to black. If these two things, the strap and the outer ring, are lighter than a brown, you'll want to richen a little more.

I'm just putting this out there for FYI, the jets your running sounds just about right for that exhaust and if your bog is gone, then your obviously getting it dialed right. Glad you got it worked out, if you have any more problems, let us know, someone here can probably get you fixed up.
