I put a hidden switch on mine so if I want to kill it dead at night at the dunes I just flip the switch and it won't start. I know, as I've tried when I've forgotten about it. dnhyoung
If I need to leave my quad unattended, I just pull out the clip on the tether kill switch, then I can clip on my jacket/pants. Of course there always the times when I'm in a hurry and jump on and ty to kick it over until i realize I forgot to put the kill switch back in place... Haha...I've done that SO many times at the track. I always leave my tether clipped to me instead of always putting it on, taking it off etc. I forget to clip it back on id say 60% of the time. Sure makes you feel like quite the ass doesn't it.
