sandgrencivic2k1
I was wondering about how long a banshee will last before the top end needs to be rebuilt? I have a 2001 with a fresh top end. But I was wondering how long till I would have to do it again? I only ride it about 2 times a month. I don't ride too hard except when I am in the sand. Let me know, so I know how long I can expect. Thanks.
papa_smurf49319
it all depends on how well you maintain it, i ride my banshee hard all the time, its a 95 and i just blew the first top end. so it lasted from 1994-2004
SyNtAxx
Hello, I agree...i also have a 95 banshee....i just put my first top end on it this past winter. I only needed to go .10 over. So take care of it...and it will take care of you. Nick
Lepew
I've heard a banshee needs a rebuild about every 400 Hrs. It really depends on the conditions and how you maintain it. A person should check the compression and do a leak down test once in a while. I like to even pull the plug and and feel how much slop in the piston.
