initall
I am just putting my motor back together. I noticed during tear down that the primary drive gear ( the gear on the crank with the key). I have part of one tooth missing on the gear. Would it be okay to install like that. or should i grind the remaing part of that tooth of. Or replace the gear. I have asked around and heard different answers. So i have decided to ask the people who know the most about banshees. Please help Thanks. pimp559
Don't be cheap, buy the part before it causes big problems. The peace of mind is totally worth it.

BdBanshee
I would definitely replace the gear. If you want straight cut gears you will also have to replace the one on your clutch basket.
