doltz
Lets get this started! O.K here is the gig..... Db level up there is 94 but they do not check that much. If they are checking for some reason you can put your quad in the truck & tell them it is broke & you are going to just play around in the truck. But you must have Spark Arrestors either way. I was up for Memorial & the 4th of July & never got checked once & I have T5's. Camping is prob. the cheapest & easiest route for everyone so I will find a campground that will block off about a dozen or so sites & I will post the ph.# for everyone to call on their own. There are nice normal campgrounds & crappy party type campgrounds tell me what you guys prefer. I prefer clean shitters... but that is just me. Shoot me some dates & I will pin point a weekend that is good for most people. I will title the post SilverFest 04. You can e-mail me at jschultz@kukausa.com for best results. Any help will be appreciated. This will be a damn good time if everyone makes the effort.
bansha60
I'm thinking sometime in August, so that by that time everyone will know about it, and can have plenty of time to get it planned out. Silver Lake state park is cheap as hell, but gotta keep the partying on the down low! , I think this will be awesome as hell.

broke
I'd be up for that week. Do you still need scuba gear for the flats? Are there any hotels in the area? I don't think I would even want to put a tent up in public, I am completely camping declined. I really want to try out my 7 month old paddles, that have never even been mounted on the bike. I hope this Silverfest actually works out. broke

Hockey390
Ya, as long as its in august I will be there.. Unless its after the 20th.. I'm going to be up in TraverseCity from the 31st of July till August 7th, so if its in those dates I will come down, but i would rather have a full weekend that I'm free. doltz
This is not getting much response. I need a descent head count by 7/31/04 or I will simply just post a date when I am going and where I am staying & everyone can try to hook up. braaaaaaaap
Hockey390
Try this... post a new one, this one has alot of stuff and people probably arent reading it all. Post SILVERLAKE trip, and the dates as the topic, and then in there, say right off the bat that we need a headcount, where we are staying.. Basically the who, what, where, when, crap.. then at the bottom put read next post for details. Then post what you posted first in this one. That will probably get more people to look. I know I'm in for sure, you gotta let me know the dates so I can be there and all, buy I wouldnt miss it for the world.
QuadMX
I'd love to go again. I guess theres a ferry that goes in 2 hours from here to Muskegon. Thinking about taking time off again right before college starts to get there. Anybody know the name of it? Minkia38
i am going to Go during the AppleFest at Silver Lake - the weekend of September 18th - should be a great time for all! by the way, a new bar just opened in Silver Lake called "Tini Bikinis" - all waitresses are bikini clad hotties! Right on a campground actaully the bar is - Val Du Lakes. I never stayed there - but I wouldn't mind now! Threy have 2 full outside volleyball cts right at the bar, pool, the works no liquer though - thats illegal to serve in Oceana county, MI Drags are still flooded as of last week - secondary drag strip is about 50% functional right now...... just a little shorter than normal..... I'll set up this trip if need be - i tried to plan one last year and it never happened.....
