German Shepherd
Will the tors system kill my motor if I hold my banshee flat i.e. Wide the F open in 1,st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th gear for prolonged periods? as in keeping it in 3rd or 4th all the way up the hill with the throttle pinned? Thanks

NYUK
the only thing the tor s did on my bike was make it stick wide open in the snow.
Cotton eyed Joe
TORS bascially consists of 4 switches. One is on the parking brake lever One is on the thumb throttle One on each carb Basically they are ignition interrupt switches. If the thumb throttle switch gets connected (it makes contact when released) and one of the carb switches don't connect it chops the ignition. It really has nothing to do with how long you hold it wide open. It has everything to do if your carbs STICK open, and you release the thumb throttle. .
mine likes to not make my bike idle and down low it is real choppy, and then I'll hit a bump and it'll go back to running smoothly, and then I'll hit a bump further down the road and it'll be back to choppiness and not idling......That little black box has to goooooooo
