locogato11283
friend used to be realy slow, now he got new sprockets and bam he flys past us.. wtf is this ? how can i kick his ass !! well it depends. did he go up or down with the front? is he jumpin off the line faster than you or just beating you on top? if hes jumpin off the line really well he prolly geared it down a tooth and its taking you a long time to catch back up. if he geared up hes just pullin past you on top. you needto find out what he geared his at. rebelbanshee2
if you are piped i would put a 15t front on. thats probably what he did. a 15t really wakes the banshee up. pulls the gears longer with less wheelspin
locogato11283
if you are piped i would put a 15t front on. thats probably what he did. a 15t really wakes the banshee up. pulls the gears longer with less wheelspin if he doesnt have the power to pull the 15t then theres no point in using one. all that will do is hurt him. we need to know what the other guys gearing is, what the mods are and so on. otherwise trying to decide what kind of gearing to use is almost impossible. Toomey Banshee
I put a 15 tooth on my sons 99 and its a great improvement. Really helped, but anything was good compared to the 1/1000" teeth that were left on the old sprocket. By the way Logo, congrats on having your shee in dirtwheels. Looks outstanding. Wassup350
I notice a lot of people are either going up or down from 14. is 14 teeth stock for front sprockets on newer banshees. Mine came stock with a 13 front on it, its got a 43 rear sprocket also. Just curious.
Justintoxicated
when I piped mine I went down a tooth, and then up 2 teeth to a 15 after I ported it. I prefered the 13 tooth in the dunes but gear up for the flats....And Learn to start in second.
