Sandfest ?

Val-Du doesn't mind a little noise. Nor fires. It can be a little raddy, but I have never minded staying there...... I ALWAYS wear flip flops wherever I shower away from home anyways. I am up in the air about going, $$ is tight as always, and I may be switching jobs soon. It will be a last minute decision. If I go, I will have a Dark Grey F-250 Diesel crew cab and my shee. Val-Du will be where I am at, somewhere around campsite 77 or so..... (in the back, where the party's at) :headbang:

All you need is a couple of vise-grips. A small one for the shifter and a large one for the kicker. ;) So you'll be there and riding, right?

4 more days! I put my sand tires on today and checked her over. Started on 2nd kick, after sitting for 3 months, so that's a damn good sign. I just hope I pass the sound test. I barely made it in 3 months ago with 95 dB, so I'll be bringing packing with me, just in case. I probably won't get there until late friday night, hopefully by 9 or 10:00.(and that's if I make it through chicago traffic quick, lol)

I plan on getting into the Mears/Silver Lake area around 5:00 on Friday. I hope to visit one of the ATV stores there to pick up a flag and check the place out. Then I'll head over to Val-du Lakes campground to meet up with everyone. I'll be by myself in a Red 2002 Chevy extended cab 2500 with a black and white Banshee in the back.

Should I bring some firewood or does someone else already have that covered?

I'm sure firewood is a good idea if you have some.

I'll bring what I can.

i might be staying at same hotel as blk02banshee, its pretty cheap - and costs the same as 3 of us splitting the cabin we were gonna stay at.....

im leaving early friday morning (was gonna leave thursday, but why pay for an extra night at the hotel.....)

Nice. I won't be getting there until late, but I'll call you on your cell. I just thought of something, though...does anyone one know if people NOT staying at the campground, will be able to hang out at the campground? I've never been to val-du, but I know some campgrounds only let you in if you're staying there.

I'm all loaded up and ready to roll, as soon as I get off work B) .
