dlnoss
If your radiator isn't clogged up and your jetting is correct AND it still runs hot with the new impeller, try an aftermarket head. (although that may not fall into the 'cheap' category.
DirtRider
there are spark pugs called BR9ES they supose to run cooler than BR8ES. give that a try. dont have a clue how it will affect performance though
duneslinger
A simple aid for cooling is to fill in the gap from the radiator to the shroud with some wheather stripping type foam so all the air must pass through the rad and not just pass around it. every little bit helps
txblueshee
If you posted in the right section you might get more responses but anyway..... Like dlnoss said if your jetted correct and whatnot it shouldn't overheat but if it does pick you up some engine ice. If that don't do the trick snag you an aftermarket head (I heard this guy on the forum called makes a good aftermarket head ) Mike
THOR1
move your coolant res. tank to the front and get engine ice... pretty cheap way of helping.
Nighty
The foam around the radiator is a great mod. Then engine ice. Then new head

Maverick302
I was in a hardware shop, got some small hoses, nozzles, a reservoir, and a $10 water pump. Set up a radiator sprayer that works great, and only cost like $30. I have to reach down and turn on the pump and it sprays the raddy, steams everywhere, and runs significantly cooler. Thinking about mounting a button on the handlebars but it's good for now.
