Has anyone heard of Ritter Cycle Racing? I'm having some port work done there. Its about 35 minutes from my house.

Dudes name is Rick Ritter. Supposedly been around a long time. I met him

and checked out his shop and its tight. We talked for about an hour while

he kept wrenchin away. Nice guy. What scared me a little though is

that he said that the girl who does the porting will start on them first thing in

the morning...which is cool, girls are supposedly better with their hands at

delicate crafts. But I asked about her, and Rick said he can do the porting

and used to do it all but that she has been with him about one and a half

years. He says she is an artist who lives in his town and that he met her when

she carved some...carved something for him, I don't know...I didn't see it.

I asked if she new anything about port mapping or a degree wheel and

he said no, he has just kind of shown her, or shows her what needs to be removed and she goes to town  . I asked him if my transfers would

get much attention and he said not a whole lot, just a little clean up (going

for full port, leaning toward drag). He said the exhaust port would be altered

and the intakes opened up, but not as much as a lot of guys do. He showed me a lot of work there in the shop and it is some pretty work, but I want someone with a degree wheel and a calculator on the job. Long story short  just wondering what you guys think and if anyone has heard of them.

Heres their website Ritter Cycle

Can see why you're concerned, I'd also prefer someone with a calculator and degree wheel to cut my cylinders up... I suppose if it performs as promised after the job is done, then there shouldn't be much too complain about.

eh.....I had someone port my jugs with out a degree wheel, but they build dragster engines for a living. They know what they are doing, and they knew I wanted a clean up. Both sides are the same and its a pretty damn good port job. I noticed a difference the first time I brought the front end up and damn near went verticle in the sand.

I wouldn't suggest you do the same with someone that doesn't know what the difference between a pine cone and a piston is.

Is she hot?

just hope shes not having a "visit from aunt flo" and really pissed off, and desides to take it out on your motor

serious, you never know this chick might do one hell of a job and make your motor run like a bat out of hell

so anyway, is she hot ?
