Chemical Castration
Ant one here see this have this set up or see it run? Looking to getting bike built and doin some research on builders before i do anything I'm getting a methanol drag port from Dan right now. He's really a great guy to deal with, he's willing to answer any questions that you have. The only downfall to him is that he's so busy! But it's because he does a good job. Call him up, you wont be sorry.
locogato11283
i was researchin here a few weeks ago and i sent patriot an email and it took them 4 or 5 days to get back to me. that pretty much made my mind up about them. i understand they may be busy but if so they should have someone on top of things like that. i sent jim(PassionRE) a pm here one night and not an hour later he had already pmed me back. im sure ive annoyed the shit out of him cuz ive pmed him a million times with a million questions, but he always gets back to me within 24 hours. so my cylinders are at passion racing right now. I agree, Jim is very easy to work with and will answer all your questions very quickly. His work is top notch and he can get all the parts you need at a very competitive price.....the man knows his shit!
Meat_Head
Well Dan normally answers my emails within a few hours but he is indeed really busy.
cjm02ram
Emailed patriot about the kit and after 2 days they emailed back and basicly said wait till after the 4th of July weekend to find out the info b/ they are too busy. if they had time to send that they could have gave me allitle info. I can already see that there customer service will suck so I am sending my Engine to "The Passions of Jim" tommorow.

I wrote Dan initially to poke his brain about building me a crazy engine. It took him a little bit to respond, but ya know what? Planning and building a good engine is not something you do overnight -- I'm glad he took a little longer and gave me an EXTREMELY thorough rundown on build options, results, prices, and more. If anything, it should be a testiment to their work if they're *that* busy. They obviously aren't building "average" stuff with that much business... isn't that what Trinity is for now, anyway? FadedDreams
I have the Duner port and would get it again on another banshee if i had one.Holiday weekends are a bad time to contact Dan.Last email he said that he was extremely busy with getting eveything ready for this weekend, and that he could asnwer my questions better after that. Its just a bad time of the year, cause all the sand riders are getting work done now getting ready for the drags. Not to be a smart ass,but all the info is on his site.It explains what type of power to expect, what he recommends and the package price. That's why he always spends 2 hours on the phone with me giving me THOROUGH answers to every dumbass question I have for him. Get real kid it's 4th of July weekend you know how many people are bugging him to complete their engine in time for the big weekend. You can go ahead and send your engine to whoever you want to but dont try and slam a good business with a stupid reason like "he was too busy to answer me on a holiday weekend." He spends a long time talking to you to see exactly what kind of porting you need. He's not the type of person that does cookie cutter porting. So like I said you're free to do whatever you want but if you're gonna knock a business especially one as good as Patriot Racing, you better have a damn good reason. banshee370
Well.... I look at it this way.... If this tool is too impatient to wait for an answer then let him go elsewhere. Dan is busy for a reason. If the shoe was on the other foot and cjm02ram's motor was already at Dan's and he wanted it back for the holiday weekend.. What would he rather have? Dan shooting the shit or busy finishing up a motor? How do you think the other 30(how ever many) people ahead of you feel? They all want their motors back for the weekend. If you cant wait a week for an answer.... then go elsewhere. I've said it before and I'll say it again... Without any hesitation I would send my motor to Dan. My next motor will be done by him and I'm not even thinking about building another at this point.

Blue Duece
Patriot build a damm fine motor, durable as hell, i can see why they are so busy, Passion also builds a great engine, but in my opinion a passion stroker has a pinch more grunt on the bottom, last weekend i rode a guys patriot stroker and had to feather his clutch everytime i came out of the whole, but when it came on it flew geared 16/41, if i did that on my passion stroker geared 17/40 id loop it, he rode my bike and was amazed how hard the first 4000 rpm pulled, but his bike had a fantastic over rev it just never stopped pulling on top, where my engine peaks his was still pulling, he had cpi inframes and pj 34's, id like to see how my engine runs with the cpi's and really be able to compare the 2 stroked engines
