HangingTough
I got a question on WOT. It bogs a little at WOT and I have to hold it there for about 5-8 seconds before I hit the powerband. Some people say its my Main Jet I am running a 168 Main, 48 Pilot, Needle is on second notch and my screw is at 1 and a half out running a K & N in box without lid. So I am wondering why I am still bogging at WOT and it takes so long to hit the powerband. Please help running out of ideas.
sredish
WOT is the main jet's territory. Sounds like it's hesitating and you may be a little lean. What are your mods, air filter setup, elevation and so on? Have you ran a plug check to verify your main jet? I'm guessing you have a single carb, and with pipes, normally around 178 or so. HangingTough
I am running a K&N in stock box with Lid off. Yeah I have Trinity Stage IV 2-1 not sure about jetting I running a 168 Main. When I am running at WOT it hesitates for awhile to hit the powerband and when I shift to 6 it does not whind anymore it just kind of bogs. The RPMs don't change and it just settles if anything it starts to die down and just mellos out there is no finding a power band in 6 at WOT
