I hadn't heard that and i am probably in a position to hear such things. I would consider callling BS on whoever told you that.

maybe with the twin turbo thing, but i'd be getting ready for a 6.4 in 3 or 4 years, maybe a little sooner, it is in the works.

theres a guy on truck moxie (formally ford truck world) that works for ford, and he pretty much cleared all of the "i heard that ford" stuff up. he did state that a more powerfull motor was in line but the dual turbo wasnt in that statement. that would make for some hellafied whistle, i love that sound

I would be interested in knowing who these guys that work for Ford that supposedly sit in on design meetings are. If anyone within the company were to find out that they are releasing any information like that even if it was speculative could result in them losing their jobs.

That truck looks sweet. And having owned/currently own both coil and leaf sprung vehicles, I can honestly say that my Super Duty rides good, but my Dodge rode better stock. But leafs are tough to beat rugged wise. Coils are fine, as long as it is matched with a good 4 or 5 link setup. Not a problem in the world. Now, sealed wheel bearing assemblies, that's where I get pissed!!!!
