Decided to lift my Ford SD. Who knows "people"

Recommended Posts

I've decided to go ahead and lift my F250, I knew I would. I don't want much, like 2.5 to 3.5 inches. I was thinking I wanted to go with a spring hanger kit to eliminate sagging add-a-leaves, or bouncy leaf kits and to retain factory ride. But I did see the Donahoe Edge 2" minipack, and that might work, a little smaller than I wanted, but it may work. Another reason I was opting for hanger kit was so I could add more lift with leaves and still retain the lift acheived with the hangers. Price will be the biggest factor as it will be used 75% on road and 25% off-road.

What I need from you all is a good contact or someone that can get a really good deal on some components. When I mean deal, I mean dirt freaking cheap and not making any money cause I'm a selfish bastard.

Evil has directed me to Offroad Superstores and they've been pretty good with my Jeep. I am having one little issue with a backordered item and not getting a lot of communication, but no biggie.

So, give a brotha the hookup. ;)

thanks evil. i'll let you know. I don't want 8" of lift, that's just a tad too much for me. I found the fabtech for around $530, and I'm unsure exactly what the Edge kit will cost. The edge kit comes with a track-bar bracket, but I don't like brackets, i'll be getting an adjustable bar. I don't remember now if the Fabtech comes with shocks, the Edge comes with app-specific Bilsteins. Overall, the Edge kit sounds like a more put-together kit, but we'll see how the price weighs out.

Later.

I've decided to pursue adding some off-road companies and suspension manufacturers to my "diesel perfornmanc" products. I'm going to build a site and try to start marketing off road and perf. parts online and see if I can make this grow some.

We'll see.
