racer
so how does the 4wd work since the front and rear tires arent the same size? gear changes i guess?
Bansheeman1121
What the hell are you gonna do with it?? Thats for mass production of farms but its real nice bet its pretty fast..
BenBB
Niiiice sredish, a little bigger than what I need to build a track, but with a loader it would make quick work of monster tabletops, and with a disc I'd have a sweet groomed dragstrip. Cool, yes I'm a little green cause I work at a Massey-Ferguson dealership Here's some yellow, our company just bought three of these, brand new Cat 623G scrapers, Muahhahaha!!!:
Cotton eyed Joe
so how does the 4wd work since the front and rear tires arent the same size? gear changes i guess? Just different gear ratios for the front and rear. If you take the larger tires diameter and divide it by the smaller tires diameter it gives you a number. (looking at it probably 1.something or 2. something) That number is what you would multiply the rear ratio by to get the front to turn the same speed. Cotton eyed Joe
but what I'd really like is this: or how about this IFS machine: GOD DAMN!!! You planning on going nuts and driving through your city knocking buildings over??? Thats some serious machinery....I like the one with the tracks. They have those for sale up near St. Anthony in the city of Rexburg right across from the Chevron. I think I have to be pre approved before I can even ask how much one costs. Why do I always feel like Im in the wrong business

sredish
ya think that tracked thingy would make it up butter cup at ls? i think it'd eat butter cup in one bite. my other tractor is just like the one on the first post, but without the cab, i decided to get a cab this time, since i always regretted not having one in the first place. we use them here for hay production all summer feeding cows in the winter, planting winter wheat in the fall, light dirt moving and odd loading jobs around the ranch, i also keep a set of forks handy with my "old" tractor. those forks are used more than any other thing in regards to that tractor, it's unreal how handy forks are. we also us them for fence building, digging holes, moving pipe or whatever to and fro and moving concrete around. We also have a 125x230 roping arena that we have to drag and water every day; I don't do it, but the guy that works for us on the ranch does. We have an old 100hp Ford tractor that we usually use for that and pulling the muck spreader. Our tractors stay pretty busy. This new one is more of a toy for me to be spoiled with. Never had a tractor with a/c and a cd player. I didn't put a loader on the new one, but I might this winter. I haven't built a little track yet, but I really want to. Maybe someone can come over and help me lay it out. That's the main reason I haven't is laying it out.
DirtRider
cheap f*ck your not in the wrong buisness cotton. its just that these hi paid lawyers think there more important and they should get paid more. though with out people like us they wouldnt be able to get to work or lock there doors. someones gotta do it. they get paid more and we get pollution and die prematurly from all the toxic stuff. almost seems as though somehting got twisted aroun backwards somewhere. all they do it lie anyways. though i juess once you sell your soul to the devel you get what ever you "think" you want. money. cheeeeeeeeeppoooooooooo... BenBB
Yeah the tracked machines are cool, until you hafta replace a track; we run a Cat Challenger 75E and each side was about 4 grand. Aight sredish, we can haul a scraper, D6 dozer, a roller and a blade over there and build you a nice supercross arena, if you pour the pad fer my house and the 40'x50' metal shop building on the 10 acres I just bought (don't laugh, 10 is plenty for me). Deal?
