Hockey390
Or you can use a hairdryer... Same effect, little less painful if you get too close
locogato11283
you should never let it get so hot that you can put your thumb into it. when i do mine i just barely graze the plastic with the flame. as soon as i take the flame away, its already back to normal color and can be touched. how long did you hold it there? did it start to bubble at all when you did it? if you hold it too long itll bubble and on blue, itll turn to a darker color. DirtRider
is there a way to take the scratches out of the plastics? what if i sanded them down with sand paper and then heated that up? would it turn back to shiney black? also got a nice 4 inch crack in the plastic from crashing. i was thining of clear JB weld. is there a way to make it not noticable? anyone

98bonerSTOCKshee
atleast with the thumb print, if it ever gets stolen it would be easy for the COOPS to identify..LOL! as far as the crack, go from the bottom side and use another piece of plastic to melt into the crack Edited June 24, 2004 by 98bonerSTOCKshee
