sredish
Just wondering what the deal is with this ignition and what difference there is when comparing it to the Dyna. And what's up with this chart, good for like .5 hp?
BansheeBrian
It did advance the timing slighty. The thing I'm not sure is that it's advertised to give a hotter spark. That needs to be looked into.It threw my jetting off a hair but not much. They retail for around 240.00. I have it but it had to go since my timing is controlled by a plate.Heard alot of good things about the Dyna ignition.
sredish
I wonder how much it advances the timing. I'm running a +4 plate, and was considering an ignition.
BansheeBrian
I'm not sure on how much advance it has on it.I wish i knew for certain because you will need to reset you're plate. That's an important detail Yamaha left out.
thecabinboy
Got mine new for 120 (lucky ebay deal) so I bought it I still set my timing at +4. Wish they had more info on it.

Well, did you notice a difference with the ignition? $120 is a damn good deal I'd say, I'll give you $60 for yours.
