Banshee169
I read that the production of the Banshee wont stop until 06'. They say by then emissions regulations will be so bad they will have to discontinue.
Phase
I'm not suprprised they stopped producing the Warrior. They've got the Raptor 350 now. Did anyone else notice they added the following text to the Banshee info?: There will never be another ATV quite like the Banshee - that wailing two-stroke twin party animal of an engine is unique in the world of ATVs. hamuel
the 350 raptor is the same as a 350 warrior
sredish
The production will not stop on the Banshee. Yamaha USA will simply cease to import the banshee after December 31, 2005. So, we have over a year left to buy a new banshee. You will still be able to buy one overseas.
2stroke_addict
are you sure banshee's will continue to exist overseas? how about canada??

sredish
I'm not sure about canada, and I don't know if it can be shipped from overseas either. The dealers won't be able to sell it due to emission crap. I wouldn't see why you couldn't buy one overseas and have it shipped. Mainly, I've heard is like in Japan and over there is where they'll still be, but I am by no means that well informed, I just know that they'll no longer be imported and will be produced, most likely on a smaller scale. trail rider
What will yamaha do when the time comes? Will they do like the warrior and make some kind of replacement or will they just take it out of production and have one less quad to make . I personally hope that they keep the banshee frame and design and put somekind of big bore 4 stroke twin in it. I wonder if yamaha has been designing some kind of new motor in the last couple of years?
