I need your help

Recommended Posts

OK, I've been working on this here and there for a while but when the HQ went down I had nothing else to do, so I think I got it about 90% done. I need everyone who can help to check it out for me, and let me know what is wrong, missing, or needs to be changed. It is LONG, about 20 pages, but I think I got about everything covered. Here's the link:

Banshee Electrical FAQ-early version

I'll get the missing data out of my Clymer's manual, but I need:

From Meat or anyone else: some good pics of the stator, coil, etc.

From Blacksmith, Boonman or anyone else: a short explanation of how this shit actually works (like how the coil steps up voltage-thanks Boonman I'll get it in there).

From anyone: errors, omissions, and any good links that I should add.

Thanks everyone who has time to check it out, hopefully it will be useful to someone...

*edit* I added some color-coded wiring diagrams and a few links...

Thanks J.J., let me know if you think it's TOO long, I could take out some of the first questions.

Matt, it's not done yet! I still want to add some pics and make sure I've got everything right...

Holyman, if you read this, I need to see if it's OK to use your pic of the flywheel holder you built...

Hey Ben. Thought I had some good pics of my stator, but all I have is this and I doubt that'll work for ya. Led has a bunch of his stator and the new RS stator, but he's duning as we speak so we'll turn our nose up at him for awhile. Page looks good, I'm not much of a banshee electrical wiz, so I'll leave that up to the others.
